Exploring Educational Innovation, Inclusion, and Global Collaboration
The Association for Reinventing School Education (ARISE), in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), led a high-level delegation of Indian school promoters, principals, and education leaders to Japan from June 9–13, 2025. The delegation comprised 30 senior leaders from 14 Indian states, collectively representing over 100 schools and 90,000 students.
Supported by the Embassy of India in Tokyo and COBIS, the delegation aimed to explore Japan’s inclusive, technologically integrated, and culturally anchored education system drawing actionable insights for systemic transformation in India’s K–12 sector.

The Rugby School, Tokyo; Fuji Kindergarten; Kasai Junior High School; The British School in Tokyo; Showa Women’s University JHS & SHS; Musashino City Sakurano Elementary School; Osaka Prefectural Shimizudani High School; University of Tokyo; National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST); Embassy of India, Tokyo; World Expo 2025 Site, Osaka
Through immersive school visits, institutional dialogues, and cross-cultural exchanges, the delegation engaged with pioneering models of learner-centered pedagogy, digital transformation, and inclusive education highlighting opportunities for Indo-Japan collaboration and adaptation within India’s evolving educational landscape.
