The ARISE Principal Forum recognizes that in today’s interconnected world, access to unparalleled opportunities for professional development and networking with like-minded leaders from India and around the globe is a key to add value to leaders of academia, on whose shoulders lies the most important task of nurturing the school student’s journey through formative to secondary years and preparing them for setting their foot into the world of higher education.

Recognising the need for continuous professional development, collaboration, and support among educational leaders, the ARISE Principal Forum program is designed to empower Principals & Academic leaders to find solutions for the challenges they encounter in their schools’ day to day operations and administration.

Benefits of the Principal’s Forum
Access to Knowledge, Resources and Training: Members of the Principal’s Forum gain access to ARISE-backed research, knowledge repositories, best practices and a strong support system from the K-12 academic community. ARISE will also serve as a platform for facilitating Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programs and training opportunities for principals and academic leaders. They will have access to well researched publications & papers that aid the K-12 education sector.
Leadership and Representation Opportunities: Principals and academic leaders can join state or taskforce committees by invitation, allowing them to contribute to ARISE’s strategic goals and decision-making processes. Further, principals and academic leaders will get access to high pedigree subject matter experts in areas beyond pedagogy, both within and outside of India.
Networking and Conferences: The platform entails invitation to thought forums, curated international delegations, exchange programs & access to global conferences & summits, providing exposure to advanced teaching, pedagogy and administrative practices. This includes complimentary participation in ARISE conferences and priority access to international delegations, fostering collaboration, exposure, and global exchange for principals. The forum also serves as a Community Building Platform enabling principals to share best practices, address common challenges, and mentor peers within and beyond the ARISE network.
Learning Outcome Focussed Workshops: Principals and Academic Leaders will be invited to workshops specifically designed to help participants develop and achieve measurable skills and knowledge. These workshops focus on clearly defined outcomes and cover topics such as communication skills, project management, regulatory frameworks, conflict management, AI integration, and digital transition.
Key Focus Areas (2025 & 2026)
Regulatory Empowerment & Compliance Mastery:
Equip principals with the knowledge and tools to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance. This may include examples such as School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (SQAAF) to illustrate the effective implementation of quality standards; or by providing an in-depth understanding of Child Protection and School Safety guidelines to ensure student well-being and safe school environment.
Leadership Development:
Foster transformative leadership skills to drive strategic growth while developing second-level leadership, empowering mid-level administrators for sustainable institutional success. Also, emphasis on balancing academic and administrative leadership to ensure both instructional delivery and operational excellence.
Navigating the Ongoing Advanced Digital Transformation:
Facilitate and help Principals understand the latest trends and use cases for embracing AI and related technologies for integration into classroom curriculum and beyond.
Exposure and Deeper Understanding of Emerging Future Skills:
Fostering collaboration with industry to build awareness and cultivate expertise in emerging future skills.
